The wafer-style butterfly valve (Model: D71X-16Q) features a simple structure, compact size, and light weight, consisting of only a few components. Moreover, it can be quickly opened or closed with a 90-degree rotation, enabling easy operation. Meanwhile, this valve exhibits excellent fluid control performance. When the butterfly valve is fully open, the thickness of the butterfly disc is the only resistance to the medium flowing through the valve body. As a result, the pressure drop generated by the medium passing through the valve is minimal, giving the valve good flow control characteristics.Butterfly valves are available in two sealing types: elastic sealing and metal sealing. For elastic-sealed valves, the sealing ring can be embedded in the valve body or attached to the periphery of the butterfly disc. This type of valve is widely used in numerous industries such as water supply and drainage, electric power, chemical engineering, food processing, and pharmaceutical manufacturing.
